The Pepper Pots:
Quina alegria! Avui he rebut un paquet procedent de casa, amb el meu llibre de Sant Jordi: El zoo d'en Pitus. Per qui no conegui el llibre, és una història per la canalla que explica com una colla d'amics munta un zoològic al bell mig de Barcelona per recollir diners per tal d'enviar un company malalt a un famós metge a l'estranger.
Aquest llibre, per poc que ho sembli explicat així, és el tercer més venut en català (després de la "Plaça del diamant" i "El mecanoscrit del segon origen") i fins i tot ha estat traduït al japonès, el llibre és famós degut a que transmet tota una colla de valors (companyerisme, amistat, ajuda a qui la necessita...) per la quitxalla.
Jo no el vaig llegir de petit, i algú creu que ningú pot haver sigut nen petit i no haver-lo llegit, així que ara tindré l'oportunitat de fer-ho, i el dia de demà els meus fills també podran llegir-lo.
A més, com podeu veure, també ha arribat un CD amb uns quants dels grups que fan ambient: Macaco, Pepper Pots i Rauxa.

Wonderful thing! Today I have received a package from home, it cotained my Sant Jordi book: The Pitus' zoo. For those who don't know the book, it is a children book, the story tells about a bunch of friends that try to make a zoo in the middle of Barcelona in order to pay the trip for a friend that is ill and needs to go to another country in order to get his cure.
Besides it may not seem it, it is the third book more sold in catalan language (after The diamond plaza and The second origin's mecanuscrite)and has been translate even to japanese, due to the valors it gives to the children (friendship, help to others...).
I didn't read it when I was a child, and the person who send it to me just thinks that no one can have been a child and not read it. So now I can put a solution to that and the day after tomorrow, my own kids will read it :)
As you can see, I have received a CD, it contains some of the favourites groups of the sender: Macaco, The pepper pots and Rauxa.

Lutra, that sounds like a wonderful book. Did receiving those things make you a little homesick? And I haven't asked in a while, do you have any new favorite american foods yet?

These days were I have news or receive something from home, are the best ones!
I keep doing BBQ, next week maybe I have another one, so for the moment just BBQ american food.
Normal days I cook my own foot, and it is like in my home :)

O sigui que el Zoo d'en Pitus és el 3r llibre més venut? Doncs no l'havia sentit mai el que m'ha agradat més són els dibuixos de la portada, em pensava que sabia el nom de l'il·lustradora però no me'n recordo. De petita vaig aprendre a llegir amb els seus dibuixos : )
