Hola! Avui us parlaré del meu trosset de jardí particula que tinc aquí a Berkley :)

De tot el jardí que tenen els propiertaris de la propietat (valgui la redundància), el costat de la meva porta és com un trosset apartat, que queda només per mi, perquè no hi van. Fins hi tot hi tinc un banquet de fusta que ja heu vist. Però en general aquest racó no feia massa patxoca, perquè hi deixaven els trasos amuntegats i la gespa no hi creixia de no regar-la. I el banc estava mig menjat per esbarzers i teranyines. Era el racó oblidat d'un bonic jardí.

La veritat és que hi he vist un bon lloc en potència per passar les tardes d'estiu llegint a la fresca, o menjant-hi els caps de setmana, i he decidit que calia aprofitar ara que tinc jardinet.

Després de parlar amb la propietària, que m'ha donat carta blanca per fer-hi lludrigades (i unes quantes torretes buides i pedres planes), m'hi he posat mans a la feina. Moure pedres, fer-lis el forat, sortir a buscar plantes... Aquí hi podeu veure l'abans i el després. Tot i que encara em falten moltes coses per fer-hi, però el canvi ja comença a ser maco oi?

Hi, today I will talk about my little piece of garden :)

From all the garden that the owners of the property have, the corner that leads to my house is a nice hiden one, but a bit unantended, as they don't go there. Grass is not nice because it needs more water and some old stuff is lying around. It even has its own bench, but half covered by blacberry thorny plants and spider webs. It is the forgotten corner of a nice garden.

I saw in it a nice place for reading in summer afternoons, and for having lunch at weekends, so I decided to enjoy it now that I have my own little garden.

So after talking with the owner, she gave me free way to make changes on it (and some empty flowerpots and flat stones), so I started the job: chosing stones, making holes to put them in, water the grass, going out for flowers... In the photographs you can see the before and the after of today. It is still more job to be done, but in just one afternoon, the place has gained more charm, hasn't it?
