Iustitia

La deesa romana de la justícia.
L'espasa simbolitza la llei.
La balança simbolitza l'equitat.
Els ulls envenats simbolitzen la imparcialitat.

La finalitat de la justícia consisteix en otorgar els drets que ens corresponen a cada persona, defensant a l'individu segons els principis d'equitat.

Corren mals temps per la justícia.

Revisem al DGLC unes quantes paraules que potser han sigut oblidades:

Equitat: Adaptació de la norma jurídica a les particularitats de cada cas concret, per evitar una interpretació rígida dels preceptes legals d'acord amb l'esquema general de les normes jurídiques.

Imparcial: Que no afavoreix un per sobre d'un altre.

Justícia: Virtut moral per la qual hom pensa i obra segons dret i veritat.

Actualment hi ha milions de motius per pensar que la pobra Iustitia les passa magres. Concretament avui he passat bona part del dia parlant sobre les desigualtats que les dones tenen per competir en esports a nivell professional respecte als homes amb en Roberto i (sobretot) amb la Mar. Justice finality is give corresponding rights to every person, proctecting every single person following equity principles.

We are in bad times for justice.

Lets read again some words that maybe have been forgotten with time:

Equity: Adaptation of a juridic law to the particularities of a specific case, in order to avoid a rigid interpretation of law.

Impartial: Not to favor someone over someone else.

Justice: Moral virtue with wich one thinks and does following right and truth.

Nowdays there are hundreds of reasons to think that Iustitia is having bad times. Today I have talk plenty of time with Roberto and (mainly) Mar about difficulties that women must endure to practice high level sport and that men don't. This post goes for them.
